Trunk Collections Burgers for a Cause in Thornton

On Sunday, September 20, 2026, Trunk Collections brought the Thornton community together for Burgers for a Cause at Washington Plaza, located at 930 E 104th Avenue. Denver Party Rentals was proud to provide chairs and tents for the outdoor fundraiser, helping create a comfortable place for guests to eat, gather, and support a meaningful cause.

The event featured an In-N-Out burger cookout, face painting, yard games, an ice cream truck, and shopping opportunities at Trunk Collections. Guests were invited to make a suggested $2 donation for each burger received, with every donation matched by Trunk Collections to benefit Judi’s House/JAG Institute, an organization supporting grieving children and families.

For a community fundraiser, the physical setup matters. A tent gives guests shade and helps define the gathering area, while clean, sturdy folding chairs make it easier for people to stay, share a meal, and take part in the activities. The right event rentals can turn an open parking-lot or plaza space into a welcoming place for connection.

We are grateful to Trunk Collections for including Denver Party Rentals in an event that combined good food, local shopping, and support for families in the community. Providing event tent and chair rentals in Thornton, Denver, and the surrounding metro area is especially rewarding when the setup helps a local organization raise support for its work.
